Ancient Empires: 2021 Edition - A Fantasy Turn-Based Strategy Game
Ancient Empires: 2021 Edition is a new and improved version of the famous turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy world. Developed by Taras Hupalo, this game is currently in beta and promises to offer players a unique and exciting gaming experience.
The game features a tutorial that introduces players to the gameplay, characters, and world of Ancient Empires. Once you have mastered the mechanics, you can put your knowledge to the test in a series of 8 demanding missions in story mode. The game boasts 14 unique unit types with different abilities, including swordsmen, archers, catapults, golems, dragons, and necromancers.
In addition, players can enjoy custom games (skirmish) where they can choose from a variety of maps, set up rules, and play with or against AI or human players via local hot-seat play. The game offers different types of terrain, such as forests, mountains, and water, which give different bonuses for defense but slow down some units.
Ancient Empires: 2021 Edition is still under active development, and the developers have planned exciting new features such as more animations, a map editor, new campaigns, new units and unit editors, dynamic unit evolution, new graphics, new game mechanics, and online PvP.
